1. CANDICE: Agentic Causal Disentanglement with Class Conditional Knowledge Integration for Long Tailed Domain Generalization (2026)
   Medical imaging classifiers must generalize across hospitals, scanners and patient groups (domain generalization, DG). They must also recognize rare pathologies (long-tailed recognition, LT). The authors argue these goals conflict: enforcing domain invariance tends to erase the fine-grained cues that rare classes need.
