Morphology, parsing, pragmatics, coreference, reading comprehension, generation, and the history of English.
These are the works Mova reads for English: morphology and the lexicon, part-of-speech tagging and dependency parsing in Universal Dependencies, semantic roles, pragmatics and discourse, coreference, reading comprehension over stories, generation from trees and frames, and the history of the language from Old English to the King James Bible.
Every card says what the work is about in our own words, the ideas we take from it for Mova's parser, frames and world, and — once an idea has been tried — what it did, measured on our own data, including the ideas that did not help. The works themselves are not copied; each card links to the original and names its licence.
